Ginny Norris, Volunteer Coordinator.

Ginny is a mother, wife, librarian, historian and community advocate. She is the Volunteer Coordinator for the project. In this role she is responsible for recruiting and placing volunteers to work throughout the project. Ginny is a faculty member of the Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College System, where she works as the Whitesburg Campus Library Director. Ginny is a 2004 graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Library and Information Science. She holds a B.A. in history from the University of Kentucky. Ginny was raised on her grandparents' tobacco farm in Shipley, Kentucky and graduated from Clinton County High School. She became interested in the RFK in EKY performance because she sees it as an opportunity to promote a more realistic and positive image of the people of Appalachia.
