Fleming Head Start In 1968, RFK stopped at the Fleming Head Start Center and read a book to the children. In 2004, RFK in EKY recreated that moment. RFK, Edelman, and Perkins left the Fleming-Neon Gym and raced half a mile north to the Head Start to read a story. Unfortunately, only a few audience members were able to keep up with them. None of the documentation crew made it to the Center in time to film the event.
